Its a Hitachi DZ-MV730A

I have a new JVC gz-mg130u Hard Disk camcorder. I used to have a MiniDV camera that could be connected to the computer and used as a webcam too. I can’t seem to find this feature in the menu once the camera is connected, or rule it out either. Does anyone have this camera and know if it can double as a webcam?

I am looking for a hand held camcorder hard disk around about $200 and $300 plus the best place to purchase it.

Hard disk based camcorders. . . To begin with, I am new to the camcorders and do not have much knowledge about them. I am planning to buy a camcorder for the holidays and the idea of my videos being stored directly to a 30GB hard disk sounds great to me. But for some reason, most camcorder buying guides do not really mention these hard disk media camcorders and I am not sure why.
Have these hard disk media camcorders really worth all the money? Any big disadvantages or issue which I should know of before buying one? And lastly, the only two companies I found who make these types of camcorders were Sony and JVC. Do I have more options or do I have to settle for Sony or JVC?

I have the JVC Everio MicroSD Hard Disk Camcorder. It’s serial code is “GZ-MG230U”.
So recently I lost all the accessories for it, including the usb cable, the charger, and AV cable. I was just wondering, and hoping, if all the accessories for my camera are universal with the other Everio cameras. For example any of these cameras:

The reason I am asking if all the cables are universal is, because I can’t find ANY accessories for MY camera exactly on the JVC site or really anywhere else.
