Undelete deleted videos from digital camera and camcorder

Fretting over the deletion of videos from your digital camera or camcorder? Don’t be perturbed. Your deleted videos can be recovered, just like your deleted pictures, but with suitable solutions. Gone are the days when deletion meant oblivion, your videos can be easily recovered from digital camera. All you need to do is look for a good video recovery software and download it. And, you won’t believe you can recover all the lost videos on your own without investing a great deal of time. Thanks to the evolution of digital data recovery concept, anyone can recover lost videos on his own.

Videos are recoverable in many instances

Now-a-days, in the availability of easy-to-use digital camera and camcorder, no excursion, family function or wedding is complete unless you record some exciting videos of an event. With the soaring rates of people indulging in shooting videos, the cases of data loss have also seen a steep rise. But the good news is that regardless of data loss cause, videos remain recoverable. Here is a list of some common instances of video loss:

Accidental deletion

Unintentional or intentional formatting

Corruption of the storage media

File system damage

Virus attacks

Read/write errors etc

Memory card never deletes a video permanently

A memory card, in event of deletion, marks the space as available to be used by a new file. The data of the deleted file remains intact till the time there is no overwriting. You can recover the file easily by using a video recovery software. Therefore, refrain from storing more videos or data to a memory card before you recover deleted videos.

Selecting a video recovery tool

An efficient tool would incorporate many advanced features and perform recovery in a hassle-free manner. You can consider the following attributes before zeroing in on any video recovery utility:

It should support all video formats

It should perform recovery from digital cameras, camcorders and other storage media

It should be read-only and easy-to-use utility

It should provide a preview of the recoverable videos

Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery is a well-acclaimed software which recovers lost or deleted videos from all data loss circumstances in just three simple steps viz scan, select and save. The video recovery tool is available for both Windows and Mac users and supports all formats including AVI, MOV, WMV etc.

How to convert AVCHD to Windows Movie Maker, AVCHD to WMM ?

How to convert AVCHD to Windows Movie Maker avi/wmv/mpg(HD) video for Windows XP,Vista and 7?

Recently you are confused with your new high definition Canon HF100 camcorder that saves natively to AVCHD. You really love the camcorder but are wondering if you still be able to edit it with the built-in Windows Movie Maker.

Actual AVCHD (.mts/m2ts/ts) is a format popularized by hard disk camcorders from Sony, Panasonic, and Canon, uses h.264 video coupled with AAC audio for recording movies. Neither of these two codecs is directly supported by Windows Movie Maker on Windows OS.

What you should do first is try to determine what software, if any, comes supplied with the Camcorder, and whether said software as import facilities that allow the video to be imported into Windows Movie Maker for editing. AVCHD conversion in Window movie maker can be one of the option.

If it doesn’t work fine for some reason, more than likely you’ll need to install AVCHD to Windows Movie Maker converter. This equips with a powerful decoder for the native AVCHD files off the camcorder and successes in allowing you to convert AVCHD files to an editable format like HD AVI (best format I strongly recommend you convert your AVCHD videos to), HD MPEG-2 or HD WMV that works well with any version of Movie Maker.

Windows Movie maker supports .asf, .avi, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, .wmv, of the options I list, HD AVI and HD MPEG-2 are the two I use regularly as output formats of AVCHD video converter and prefer over other options, for WMV format sometimes have no sound in Windows Movie Maker.

Can I Transfer Videos From My 8mm Camcorder To My Computer With A/v Cords?

Hey guys
I own a 8mm Samsung SCL901 video camcorder. And I want to transfer the videos on it to my PC, but it has no firewire or USB, so I was wondering if I could transfer it with some A/V cords. Or I’ve heard that you can hook your camcorder up to your digital camera and it will transfer it for you. Well anyways I don’t want to uy anything unless it’s under $10 or sp. So please tell me if it is in any way possible to transfer through A/V cables. Or possibly with an S-video cable or any other cheap cables.
Thanks.
